Nothing Android Rumors

Nothing’s upcoming phone (1) is arguably the most hyped phone in a while and almost every day leading up to its launch is filled with new teasers and leaks. The latest one is a Geekbench listing of the alleged device which reveals it's using the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset alongside the Adreno 642L GPU and 8GB RAM. SD 788G+ is an overclocked version of the older SD 778G with a Kryo 670 CPU and a slightly overclocked 2.51Ghz primary core.

Nothing phone (1) managed 797 single-core points and 2,803 points on the multi-core assessment. The Geekbench listing also reveals the phone is booting Android 12 which will be overlayed with Nothing OS on top. Previous rumors speculated that Nothing phone (1) may launch with the newer Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset but that seems to be out of the question for now. The device is also speculated to bring 45W charging and will initially be sold via an invite system just like the first OnePlus phones.

yep, since we are in middle of transition from armv8 to armv9 (which is gonna be the one for next decade) , the support for armv8 might decrease gradually in upcoming years. its better to wait for 7 gen 1 (which uses armv9 architecture)
